Patient Portal Instructions

As of February 24, 2017, Dr. Behtash is offering a new patient portal provided by Care New England that is called “MyChart by Epic”. Please review the quick tips below.

Portal Sign-Up
Current patients received an email invitation during the week of February 24, 2017. Please watch the following video for instructions on how to find this email and sign up. Please review these sign-up instructions when you’re ready to get started.

Mobile App Download
You must sign-up on the website before you log in to the mobile app. You can access the website via a computer (best option) or smart phone (it may be difficult to fill out the signup form on a phone). Check out these step-by-step mobile app download instructions before you get started.

Appointment Scheduling
Please watch this video for instructions on how to use the patient portal for appointment scheduling.

Messaging
Please use the patient portal for all communication (except for urgent medical questions). Watch the following video for portal messaging instructions and visit the Contact Page for more information.

Quick Tips
The patient portal is shared with Care New England and other providers. Please review the following quick-tips.
Tip #1 – Messaging:  Use the “Message the Office” link. Do not use the “ask customer service” link.
Tip #2 – Scheduling:  Use the “Schedule an appointment” link. Do not use the “Request an appointment” link
Tip #3 – Can’t find an appointment:  Some patients may not have access to appointment scheduling until after their next visit. If you can’t schedule an appointment or find a time that works for you, please send a message via the patient portal.
Tip #4 – Billing: Do not use the “Billing Account Summary” page.  Please contact ASTAT billing: 401-723-5533.
