Dr. Solmaz Behtash is a primary care physician who started her career at at Hillside Family Medicine in Scituate and Pawtucket Rhode Island (near the East Side of Providence).  

In June of 2013 she opened an ideal medical practice – a type of medical practice that is also referred to as a “micro practice” because of its low cost structure that allows physicians to spend more time with patient

In July of 2019 she closed her private practice to join Oak Street Health, which using an innovative model to provide exceptional care to medicare patients.

Dr. Behtash was raised in Sacramento California and spent 10 years in the San Francisco bay area before moving to Providence, Rhode Island to join Brown University’s Family Medicince Residency program at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She currently resides in Providence with her husband, son, and daughter. After completing her residency program, she was employed by Hillside Family Medicine from August of 2008 through March of 2013.
